Weekly Small Pleasures (6)

My week was pretty good. I had a lot of work to do and that took up most of my life but I got it done and even though I still have a ton of work to do, I will get through it. So let me get into some of the good/positive things that happened this week:

  • I slept well and lots most nights
  • I listened to quite a bit of good music (most notably: Logic’s Young Sinatra album, The Vamps album, and 5th Harmony’s Reflection album)
  • I played basketball a few times and even played soccer
  • The weather was absolutely amazing this weekend
  • I watched the sun set these past two days and it was incredible
  • My counseling session was pretty productive
  • I’m starting to see myself as me – so imperfect but so enough, so worth it, so great, and so loving/lovable
  • I just found out someone I prayed lots and lots for is now cancer-free
  • PsychoBabble – Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl’s (real-life best friends and youtubers) podcast
  • There were times when I felt really great about myself
  • I spent a lot of time with my family
  • Free froyo and free Starbucks, all in one week
  • My car (his name is Maxwell) is all better now
  • I took steps to be more social and “out there”
  • I think I made a lot of people laugh
  • I’m proud of myself

I always look forward to making this list every week, it’s a good way to reflect on my week and it helps me remember the positive things vs just the negative things.

A little shoutout to A New Life Wandering – she posts her weekly small pleasures post every week and I always enjoy looking at her fun pictures and her blog is just great, check it out!
