Took a Detour and Ended up at the Beach!

The other day, I took a detour and ended up at this little beach. I hadn’t been to the beach since I was about 10 or 11 years old and that wasn’t even a real beach experience. So I ventured off, hiked through some muddy trails and ended up at this little beach. It was a bit windy out, kinda chilly, but the sun was out and it was beautiful. There were only a handful of other people there and it was just so peaceful and calm.  It was a perfect way for me to de-stress and spend some time on my own. I sat and and relaxed, watched the little waves, played with some dogs, and just hung out by myself – I loved it.

“Do one thing every day that scares you.”

“We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.”

“When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.”

“Sometimes you wake up. Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall, you fly.”

“The flower that blooms in adversity is the rarest and most beautiful of all.”

“The things you do for yourself are gone when you are gone, but the things you do for others remain as your legacy.”

“Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.”

“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.”

“The only thing standing between you and your goal is the bullshit story you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it.”

“No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.”
